Having D/S surgery next week

I am currently on a 10 day liquid diet. Have surgery next Wednesday. I am getting nervous because I have gas being on a liquid diet. As this happened to anyone else. Could it be the soup and lack of solids? Thank you

Just a guess about the gas - but chances are some artificial sweetener in your liquids may be a sugar alcohol which are notorious for causing gas. Look at the ingredients to see what is listed. Sugar alcohols end with "itol" Such as sorbitol, malitol, xylitol.

RNY to DS 210 lbs gone for 5 years.
