I was also a fish eater before surgery. Everything from Sea Bass to Tilapia to Shrimp. Now the only thing I can tolerate is Shrimp. Sometimes I can do the smoked salmon and cream cheese (I actually am going to try that today). I have been thinking today. I am not supposed to have nuts until 3 months. (so another 2.5 weeks go for those). After yesterday's visit, I was told to just do one scoop of protein, so that means rather than having 2 42 grams shakes a day, I'm going to have to have 5-6 shakes a day.
What else do you do for protein?
I too was a semi-vegetarian. I had my first dinner salad the other day. It was small, I took a long time to eat it. It tastes so wonderful to me! It did not affect me in a negative way at all. One of my DS GF said if she ate a salad, she would be in literal pain.
