Flex Sigmoidoscopy

 Has anyone had a flexible sigmoidoscopy done? I  having one done Friday.   I have an internal hemmoroid , I think from having bouts if the runs , I tried everthing my dr suggested Amd she said if its not any better she  will refer me to a specialist and I guess its standard procedure to do a sigmoidoscopy on the first visit.   Not looking forward to it.     So if anyone has had one done I would I would love to hear how it went.

I have not had it done but I did just want to tell you I have developed external hemmoroids due to the excessive pooping since the surgery. Very uncomfortble and not fun.

my experience has been with a colonoscopy and it was basically a breeze - just distasteful to think about.  It was under sedation.  Will you be sedated?
