Off moderation!  He he heeee!

So peeps how are we? There is a bit of an echo echo echoooo.

Right well I came to waggle and to pimp out the DS.

I am 2 years and 9months out from surgery and kicking arse. I went from being 30-32 dress sizes (US) to being a UK size 10 (6-8) US.  I quit my hideous hateful job where I was shat upon from great hieghts to work offshore and am typing this from the hospital on board my Vessel in Norway.

I have lost well below anything I ever imagined I would.  I have had one episode where my PTH went up but since changing to Bonebooster Complex I've been slaying my calcium levels.

If you are on the fence about the DS know that it is an atomic surgery.  It does what it says on the tin but requires a through prior knowledge before going into this.  You need to maintain your DS via correct oral intake otherwise life will be an utter misery. I can promise you that much.  Without over 100gms of protein and the screed of tablets I take every day I would be listlessly laying in my bed hoping for death.  Google protein malnutrition and B12 deficiency off the bat and think on that!!!

Ok pics or it didn't happen!

At a size 28/30 UK...so size 30/32 US sigh...

Hey Kirmy, I can't see the pics even by copying and pasting the link.

You need to get something like a photobucket account, upload the pic there and then drag and drop them onto the text area.

BTW I'm seeing Mr Patel next month - once I break the news to work (it's gonna mess up the day seeing him in the middle, but it's the NHS what can ya do!!)

I'm losing slowly, but I've not stalled yet or had any problems (nearly 8 weeks out now).

Hello darling!  Good to see you back!

To get your pics to show up you will either have to upload them into your OH pictures and copy/paste to the thread or host them somewhere (I use photobucket.com).

 Hi Kirmy,

I am having a revision surgery from RNY to DS and I am very excited.  I take so many vitamins and get a B12 shot every month and feel good but I am gaining weight withthe RNY so they are doing the DS.

Would you do it again?

Hugs, Esther

Yes and yes and yes and yes.  I'd do it every day for the next year if it gave me the quality of life I now have.
