Would you do your DS surgery again?
I was just talking to my neighbor and I would have the DS in a heartbeat again. I have lost 185 pounds in 18 months and have 11 more to go to reach my goal. I lost about 1/2 my hair. It will grow back, not what it used to be though. And you have to keep up with your protein and vitamins or you could lose more. All in all the DS is so worth the little obstacles we may face
Good luck. B

I would absolutely get my DS again - it was the best decision of my life. I did not lose all of my hair; yes, I lost quite a bit, but that can happen with any surgery - I just had elbow surgery in April, and have been shedding again because of it. My hair did grow back better than it was pre-DS, so I am happy.
Who is doing your revision? Revisions are tricky, so please make sure you're going to a vetted revision surgeon.

No, I was a vigin DS. I would only go to a vetted revision surgeon, if I were you, like Rabkin or Keshishian. I've read too many horror stories on here and other boards of botched revisions. The DS is very complicated in and of itself; revising from an old RNY requires even more skill. Good luck.
