I broke my stall. YAY, I went down 1 lb yesterday and another 3 today. I know others have experienced longer stalls, but this was a long 12 days of thinking "Oh, no I broke my DS.

I bought flat iron steaks for the first time this week. Any hints on how to make them tender enough for us?

Very nice Bites today. Congrats on breaking your mini stall. :)

Quick and to rare or medium rare. Only flip them once. I prefer to buy them in the large piece rather than individual steaks. When cut that way they seem to be more tender. However, I have been buying at Wal-mart lately and they sell them already cut into individual portion sizes. When my mom cooks them on the grill she cooks them on low heat (gas grill). I don't like well done meat so I've never let them get to that point, but fear they would get tough if I did. Enjoy. The other thing I do to get better cuts at lower prices is find the yellow label meat at Wal-mart. They cut their prices drastically when the meat is about to go past the date on the package.

LOL, I keeping dreading a stall. It'll be 6 weeks on Tuesday and I'll take the losses I've been getting so far. I'm just waiting 'til my DS breaks... after all my sleeve broke!

You know the "2 part DSs don't work" talk, yada yada... all that plays in my head. I've been in touch with a few 2 parters that it worked for, but having one failure under my belt, well you can imagine how it is...

Think I may try some Step aerobics in the living room come Tuesday. Surgeon didn't say when I was cleared for exercise. My surgery was lap and I figured some 20 minute sessions with the Step on the lowest setting would be OK. I just don't see myself doing anything else after work otherwise and I refuse to stall!!!

Low impact step aerobics should be ok I would think. Give it a try. :)
