hi all... i had my DS on Monday. Sorry for any spelling errors, but the surgery lasted over 5 hours, and i was regretting ever doing itb ecause the amount of pain that i was in. but come tuesday night i started remembering why i did this, and i felt alot better. ive been more active today that i have been. my husband and i, the kids and my mom walked around the halls together.

dr.greenbaumn really is a good surgeon.

Dr. Jamie Ponce de Leon - Medical guide Laurie Wolf Received money Never showed up - Only thing booked were flights. Surgeon and Medical team, and hospital were awesome . There is another Medical guide named Trish she is good. PM me for info.

Good for you, Stacey. Sounds like you're doing really well with the walking. Don't forget the sip, sip, sip part. It can prevent a lot of trouble. Soon that first bit of pain will be a faint memory! :o)

Dr. Greenbaum did my surgery on 8/20 and I was released on 8/24, but then I had a trip to the ER on 8/25. Turns out I had C. diff. I was released 8/27 so we just missed each other. I too had the same feeling of what have I done. Tomorrow I will be two weeks out and although I am still having some pain, every day gets better. Hang in there

its good to hear from you Annie!. Im glad things are almost well for you. today im feeling really weird, but im trying to keep busy and clean the house and walk around. it hurts alot. i went to the ER yesterday morning because i woke up with severe heart burn/chest pain, they did xrays and the doctors says my insides were very interesting. i have a huge gas bubble pushing on my heart causing heart burn. and that my organs are in shock and arent properly moving the way they should be and to follow up with my surgeon.

thanks for responding! :) wasnt sure what happened. i wanted to ask the doctor how you were but i was so out of it..

tomorrow will be 1 week for me :)

are you eating anything?

Keep sipping and walking and you will fell better soon. 5weeks was my magic number and you will be there in no time! Everyday you make it through is one day closer to feeling normal again! Good luck to you and congrats
