OH, the gas pain. I had it so bad on day 3 that I told my husband I wanted to die. The next evening I was talking with a friend of mine who is a nurse and thought to ask her if my pain med was slowing the process down. She said yes, so I went as long as I could between hits on the button and was relieved the next morning. I am not saying to get unbearably uncomfortable but ask your nurse the same question. What is your name on youtube?

 The youtube name is very long and gibberish looking just search for duodenal switch footage and if you see a large black man. That should be me

 My initial elation has given way to fear and misery.  I am stuck in the hospital because I can't pass gas.  I got into an Argurment with the hospital staff and I have seemingly permanent case of hiccups.  They performed a ct and see a partial obstruction (of what they didn't say) the doctor said he might reinsert an ng tube to remove the obstruction.  Sounds painful but I hope they will knock me out.
