Chron's Disease
I had the VSG done. It is the only one my gastrointestinal doctor would agree to. Also the only one my surgeon would consider. It does depend on where your Crohn's is located as well. I have done well with the VSG. But complications are always something to think about. Also, depending on what meds are used to keep your Crohn's in control can effect your immune system and could result in a major infection or trouble in healing, causing extra scar tissue, which could cause a blockage. Do your research. But after I researched, the only one I could be comfortable doing was the VSG. Best wishes.
