Good luck Mariah.  I hope it goes smoothly.  I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised after my surgery as I really was preparing for the worst and I felt pretty good upon awaking.  Today I'm 3 weeks out and am doing OK.

I don't really suffer from gas (and the little I have isn't stinky), although I've not really messed with carbs.  I have BMs 2-3 times a day and I've not had any accidents.  Poop smells like poop, I can't say it's especially worse (maybe a little, but not much). I had my surgery lap and the doc okayed me to remove the last dressing yesterday.  All incisions are doing very well.

Let us know how you're doing when you're able to.
