1 wk post op

i am feeling alot better every day. my surgery was Monday July 30Th. that night was hell until all the pain meds kicked in. Tuesday was better i did get up and walk their goal was 5 times i walked 3 times, and a clear liquid diet, they took out my foley so i have to get up to the bathroom, Wednesday i got to eat a full liquid had walk 7 times,  i walked only 5 times, Thursday i was released at noon, the things i hated was the heparin shot.but have been out and about and doing well iam taking off for 4 wks bc i have the time and i want my eating and bathroom issues to be worked out b4 i return. i am havingissues? i am not sleeping. anyone have suggestion

Congratulations! Hoping you have a quiet recovery. Sounds like there's a few of us DS'ers in OKC.

Congratulations! for sleep I take prescription sleeping pills.(zoplicone) works great tastes terrible. Hope you feel better soon.

 Tylenol PM works great for sleep, ask your doc for an OK first. Its Benedril.
