Can I get the Duodenal after a gastic RNY? I never educated myself enough and never knew that was an option. Can I I get it?

Yes you can revise from RNY to DS.  It is probably the most complicated abdominal sugery out there and there are only a handful of surgeons in the world who are qualified to do it.  I do not have the list of sergeons but someone who does may chime in.

Yes, but only a handful of skilled docs can do it, including Dr. Rabkin and Dr. Keshishian, because it is a complicated surgery. They have to un-do what was done to you then do the DS.

You'd have to meet certain requirements, including weight, health status, etc. Here's Dr. Rabkin's little video on revisions:  http://www.paclap.com/video/index.cfm?filename=webinar#video Anchor

Good luck!

Yes its possible to revise from RNY to DS, go to DS facts (www.dsfacts.com) and you will get a wealth of information from there. FYI, I revised last September and it was the best thing I ever done.  I wish I had known about the DS in 2004.

Good luck to you.

I had my RNY to DS revision 12/10. It is possible and doable.
