Lunch was awesome! :)  We took the dads out and I got the littlest grand baby to play with.
I hope you won't stress too much about your trip. It'll be ok.

 Curious as to how everyone makes their protein coffee's and iced coffee's?  My shakes always tend to be so thick and gritty OR I can smell the protein which makes my stomache go into flipping out mood and I throw it back up.  I was sick for 7 months while pregnant with both boys and I had the mind over matter thing done pretty darn well, for some reason I can't get it to work for this feeling.  Also the already prepared shakes say by Atkins are very smooth and you don't smell the protein BUT they cost a fortune for as much as we need everyday.  PLEASE help me out.  Thanks.

It might be the brand of protein powder.  I understand Optimum Nutrition is a good choice. I like Syntrax Nectar vanilla and add some cinnamon and little more sweetener. Here's my method for protein coffee:

1 - 20 oz shaker cup with wire ball
2 to 4 oz of 1/2 & 1/2 and 2 oz water
1 to 1 1/2 scoops of Syntrax Nectar Vanilla protein powder, tsp of cinnamon and a packet of Splenda or Truvia (or sugar free cinnamon syrup and forget the real cinnamon and extra sweetener)
{shake} until blended
Pour into large mug
Add 9 to 10 oz of hot brewed coffee (decaf or reduced caffeine)
{stir}

Add hot liquid to cold liquid to avoid lumps. Keep the protein slurry below 160 degrees.

Avoid smelling the protein powder. It should taste a lot better than it smells. :)
