Take a deep breath and try to relax. It's very normal to freak out. You may want to ask your doctor to give you a little something for anxiety between now and your surgery date. Many have had to with no issue.

Pray and also try to think positive because that is what will keep you going and get you through your journey.  I will tell you I had complications and positive thinking is what got me through it.  If you need to talk feel free to contact me.  By the way even though I had tons of complications I am still glad that I had DS I went from 311 to 144 my goal was 150 lbs.  I am happy as I can be.

Actually, the first three months post-op were the worst for me.

Your DS will amaze you, and you will amaze yourself.

Congratulations and God Bless!

My diabetes scared me more than the DS.  I'm 4 yrs out and this was the only way to go to not have to worry about MO, diabetes, HBP, cholesterol...  You'll do great.

Sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk.  Staying hydrated after surgery is the most important thing for the first several weeks.
