Some folks take longer than others to recover. I went back to work 1/2 days at 2 weeks post-op. When you start your vitamins, start them slowly. Maybe take your multies, calcium citrate and dry D3 at first and then start adding more. Cut the horse pills in 1/2 or dump the contents of your capsule vitamins into your protein shakes.  Wishing you a textbook surgery and quick recovery. :)

I had a RNY to DS open revision and went back to work at 5 weeks but didn't feel recovered until 7-8 weeks. We're all different, though.

Best wishes for a successful surgery and easy recovery,

Gina,

Good luck! My surgery is on Tues. I wish I had last words for you but I cant find any last words for myself!  I asked one of the nurses about recovery and I was told I could be cleared to go back to work at 1 1/2 weeks out because I have a desk job.  I hope its that quick for both of us.  Reading the history of the Vets, I kinda doubt it
