Stress Stress Stress!
I am prepping for an out-of-state surgery and have been told all along that my hospital stay would be 2-3 days. Suddenly I have received one-line email stating that I will be discharged the same day of surgery. I have never been hospitalized. Does 'discharged' mean you leave the hospital or does it mean something else? Is it possible to be discharged the same day you have the DS procedure? HELP!!
Sounds wrong. They discharged me in just under 24 hours and that was too early. 2-3 days is much more realistic. Call Dr K's office on Monday and double check. It will be worked out.

Dr K is a well respected surgeon and several of his patients chime in here from time to time. Perhaps they will help ease your mind. :)

I had my surgery on a Monday and was discharged on Thursday. I was in a day longer because I had a real severe bout of nausea post surgery and it set me back a day. I couldn't imagine going home the same day as surgery. I don't even REMEMBER the majority of the day of surgery...
