It turns out it was too much Reverse T3 all this time!
FWIW, approx 25% of people with thyroid problems, do not convert to t3 properly. Thus, Synthroid and other non t3 products do not squat for us.
There are a couple of good sites out on the web and forums, (similar to this one) who deal with all this t3/t4 non conversion issues. I lucked out and found a mail group way back in 1997. I couldn't even remember what tv shows I was watching, because my thyroid was so screwed up.
As for being our own advocate, yeah, it's annoying but I have lucked out with a doc who will work with me, and my "research". Because we can't get d at 50,000,... it's my next script run to the docs. :)
