Thanks for all the replies guys! I plan to experiment with my seafood when I get home in a week and a half! I hope this also sheds light for pre-op's and recent post-op's.
I tried scrambled eggs with chz today and it sat hard in my new tummy. I couldn't drink water until almost an hour after eating. I kept hiccuping which I found out is a for sign when I am topped off. Other than hiccuping I can't quite tell how much I should be taking in, I take it very small and slow.

I didn't expect to lose weight on the first week being swollen and healing but I have lost 10lbs..... I stepped on scale just to make sure I wasn't retaining water day to day. I was shocked but I will take it. I hope that's not in healthy?

As you're starting to try meats, go for the slow cooked nice and soft meat, like pot roast, meatloaf, roasted chicken (thighs, not breast), that kind of stuff.

I did well with canned tuna fish, baked tilapia, and shrimp, in that order, within the first couple of weeks. Eggs still sit heavy for me sometimes, at 6 months out. I can eat them, but i feel yucky/aware of my stomach for a while afterward.

Come join us at the other place!
