I am back home from being re-sleeved on 12/15 with Dr. Dennis Smith.  I am still trying to get the hang of being a newbie since it has been almost 3 years since I was actaully one. Yeah, I remember pureed food being way more fun than this! LOL

I will be checking back for recipes and helpful hints on how to get back in the game officially. I am sipping, walking, burping and planning every day to get the time to pass by. I am so happy that all went well.

I thank you all for the supportive words and encouragement through the revision process!

See yall in onderland!

Hi. Congratulations!

I had the sleeve in June, 2009. Have not lost much weight. I am considering the DS, however, my surgeon will not perform it. I have found another surgeon who is very experienced and very good.

Any advice for me?  Appreciate anything you may want to share. Again. congratulations and glad to hear you are doing well.

Thanks Donna. Sorry or the delay. But I am losing with the sleeve. I already had the DS a while ago, but I never had any real restriction.

I would recommend you go to DSfacts.com and get a DS surgeon to take a look at you.

How much did you lose from the start? The malabsorption is what keeps you from gaining for the most part. Was your sleeve small from the start?
