I have a 32 ounce bottle from Tupperware (this is mine http://www.mysears.com/Rubbermaid-Refill-Reuse-Bottle-32-oz-1-bottle-reviews) and a shot glass that I use. I make it a point to sit down with a movie or show and go through that bottle twice with a shot glass. Even if I only make it through one bottle I know with the water I drink through the rest of the day I'm good. I normally get in about 100+ oz a day of water. I also have a personal preference for bottled water from Crystal Gyser (the blue and red top http://www.crystalgeyserasw.com/). The spout on it is awesome and the water comes out at just the right pace.

This is the brand and size I got and they were awesome: http://www.babyearth.com/gerber-graduates-tossables-disposab le-cups-3-pk.html

They are inexpensive and if you lose one, so what? They are small enough to not get you discouraged if you can't drink too much at first. I knew better than to get the full sized cups because I knew I wouldn't be able to drink much just after surgery.  Besides, I didn't want to lift a heavy cup. These are ultra light.

Man, I just had a giant cup with a straw and was mindful not to swallow too much air.
