OK - I went to the doc today. He believes I have an adhesion and wants me to get an ultrasound in the morning. Belly and left side still hurts, but Ibuprofen helps.
I haven't felt much like taking anything in today, but......

L - 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
S - none
D - 1/2 chicken pot pie (very little pastry)
S - CarbSmart Fudge Bar (Burr)
Now that I know Ibuprofen will help with the pain, I will be able to eat and drink better tomorrow.
Has anyone else had an adhesion?

Bites: I constantly graze unless I am trying to push fluids. I try to alternate.
Bacon (4 slices throughout the morning)
1/4 piece of Julian bread made soft with butter
Protein Coffee with double scoop...cold (little bit of nausea afterward)
Green Chili with cheese and sour cream (about 1/4 cup total intake)
Will try to repeat with more chili later this evening

Morning:
Complete Multivitamin
Vitamin A
Probiotic
Niacin Flush-Free
Vitamin B12
Biotin
Lunch:
Calcium Citrate/Vitamin D (x2)
Cinnamon plus Chromium
Zinc
Evening:
Calcium Citrate/Vitamin D (x2)
Probiotic
Bed (pending):
Complete Multivitamin
Cinnamon plus Chromium
Niacin Flush-Free
Fluids: 84 oz so far
1 - 20 oz shaker cup with wire ball
4 to 6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, soy milk, water, or Lactaid milk
1 to 1 1/2 scoops of IDS Vanilla-Cinnamon protein powder (Champion Nutrition Chocolate, Nectar chocolate, Nectar Cappuccino, etc.)
{shake} until blended
pour into large mug
Add 9 to 10 oz of hot brewed coffee (decaf or reduced caffeine) You can also add brewed chai tea (unsweetened)
{stir}
Add hot liquid to cold liquid to avoid lumps. Keep the protein slurry below 160 degrees.

Very cold here....BRRRR!
Absolutely starving today .....ate all my emergency stuff at work.
B: bacon, double protein shake

S: Adkins almond cranberry bar
L: turkey and veggie soup (6 carbs), 3 oz cheddar cheese
S: Adkins mudslide bar
S: way too many nuts. (when I got home.....was gnawing on my fingers in the car on the way home)
