I have been taking 2 proferrin 11mg since surgery and increased to three a day in august. I thought it was working as my ferritin improved but my internist noted that my saturation is still low and so he is considering giving me an iron infusion. What do you think?

Most hematologists have their "favorite" infusion based on current studies (least anaphylaxis) and cost.
