2nd Surgiversary!

When I think how long the months of pre-surgical anticipation dragged on, I can hardly believe two years have passed, but they have.

By the numbers:
At  144, I'm still 7 pounds over "normal" BMI.
I've been stalled for 6 months (but am at peace with this)
I stay within a tight 4-pound window.
I've beat the terrible odds against the SMO. Instead of facing a 95% chance of regaining my weight, I have only to eat protein and keep moderate tabs on carbs.
The numbers in my closet span from (vanity-sized) 4s to (not-too-proud-to-hang-loose) 12s.10 is my usual number.
Aside from saggy ferritin, my labs haven't been too shabby, either
100 grams of protein per day, minimum
Blood sugar - 100% normal!

Mainstays:
Protein coffee
Da Vinci sugar-free syrup
Cheese and pickles
Pistachios
Julian bread (1 net carb per slice)
Vitalady (right down to the colored capsules that make it easy to tell your vitamin A from your copper and your calcium from your magnesium oxide)
Silk long underwear (I start wearing it in October!)
Benefiber
Skirt steak!
Ebay (easy and cheap wardrobe replacement!)
Family, friends, work  (I've been blessed in these, before and after DS.)

I am grateful for the companionship and advice of many of you.
