Jennifer, so glad you found out what was going on and that you're on top of it! Your eating looks great! Keep up the great work! It really is a full time job in the begining but becomes more of a way of life sooner then you think! YAY you!

I always love your posts!  I love the creativity you have found with your food. I totally lack the creativity and will try some of your ideas.

I was always hungry at round 3 weeks. My stomach growls and I totally know what the feeling in your stomach is that you described when you are hungry. At my 6 week ckup, my doctor wasnt real happy with my weightloss. I asked him, "huh!  Are you going to put me on a diet?". My doctors goal at 6 weeks was 40 grams of protein. I didnt have a problem eating a little white rice with my chicken. I tried a couple crackers with a cheeseball.i think the little bit of carbs I was addiding slowed down my weightloss. I was happy still losing 2 lbs a week, but he was not. I am now trying to eat more protein and eliminate the carbs.

I didnt want to comment earlier about the pain you were having for fear you might actually have a serious problem. I'm glad you are fine!  I too felt some pain, on my right or middle, just below my breasts. I could tell the pain between my ribs and skin and not deeper. I didnt have problems breathing, but when I went to bed at night and tossed and turned, I always felt that darn pain. It went away in a week.

Glad to hear things are going well for you!

Thanks hun, thanks for the reminder on not letting carbs sneak in...i do do an occassional bit of potato or a cracker (after protein, of course:) maybe twice a week. Usually my meals are almost carb free or super low. My weight loss has been awesome so i will make sure no more carbs make their way in:)

Yes, I was 99% sure it was just superficial pain because i had NO other symptom. But you can never be to careful and if my condition changed it woulda been to the ER in a hot minute!

Glad to hear the pain was something "fixable"!   Congrats on already loving your DS!  I'm not doing badly, but not nearly as good as you!  Fluids are still an issue as well as protein but I'm not giving up!

Thanks Kristi:) My fluids have improve immensely since ive added a straw (actually i have a 52oz mug from 711 and i have to have that mug done by 7 so i can get my last 20oz in before bed) I dont have to stay up late anymore to get it all in and i carry the mug EVERYWHERE with me. I know there is some stigma over using the straw but ive not seen any increase gas.

Im just enjoying everything while i can cuz who know when it wont be so good!

I am glad your chest pain was nothing really serious.
Sounds like you are making quite a menu! You better share all those lovely recipes for us on the boards!
