You will be on opiates. No way you will be allowed to check out solo. Not sure if they will let you use a car service either. When I had my endoscopy, a nothing little 10 minute deal, I had to have someone pick me up. Cab was not an option; it had to be a family member or friend. Of course this was in Naples but I am willing to bet that the hospital will not release you without someone to take you home. It's just too risky and believe me, you won't have it in you to drive yourself even that short of a distance.

i dont have a car, i was just going to take a taxi.
guess i'll have to pay a hobo to do it for me cuz literally everyone i know is going back home for christmas that week. lol.
oh well ill figure something out. thanks for letting me know though! i hadnt thought of that.

You should ask for help on these boards. There are plenty of people in SF who went to Rabkin and I have no doubt one of them would be happy to pick you up and take you home. Just start another post and ask. People here are so very generous. If I wasn't across the country, I'd do it myself.

Are you coming to the meeting on the 14th? I'm planning on coming down from Sac. I was up on the 8th floor corner room, million dollar view. Golden gate to the Bay bridge. The nurses were great. Some of the bariatric nurses have been coming to the monthly meeting on the 2nd Wed of the month, 6pm. The meeting is in Morrisey Hall on the first floor 2250 Hayes. I think it's Rabkin's building. It's a potluck and Paclap is bringing ham.

Will do. I'm generally there just before 6. Just had more highlighting put in my hair, so it's more blond than dark brown! Just look for the old lady with great boobs!

Well, 59 really isn't old now that I'm here, but the neck and facelift help to keep me looking more like late 40s/early 50s. Hated my floppy, nipples pointing towards my toes so they had to get lifted with the LBL. Can you tell that I love my new perky bewbies?
