Hello all. Today is a free day for eating just 'cause. Tonight I did a Thai-Dye date with a couple of my gal pals - we ate a ton of Thai food first then did their hair.

B- Double protein shake
couple of bites of Honey Bun.
L - Toppings off a piece of meat pizza
D - Bunch of Thai food, but mostly stuck with meat & veggies. Maybe 1/2 cup Pad Thai as an indulgence.
S - another double protein shake
Bedtime - ???
Protein - at least 150; carbs I'm afraid to calculate.

VITES: Done except for pending nightly batch.
Fluids: at least 64 oz and still drinking, no exercites.

Gina & everyone - any ideas on how to get my Ferritin up? I take 1- 2 poly iron with my morning batch and a Proferrin at bedtime. However my Ferritin level is only 52 and I've been trying to raise it for months. My PCP said it is 'normal' but I want it higher. I just got some VitaLady irons to add to my morning batch but wasn't sure how many to start with. Suggestions, anyone?

I would switch to Tender iron (carbonyl iron) in capsule form. At some point in your day take 300mg with a little citrus fruit and no other vitamins, calcium, dairy, whole wheat, caffeine or eggs.

At another point in your day take 2 Proferrin snapped in half.

This combo brought my iron markers right up after trying to work with poly and carbonyl for a couple of years. I don't think the poly was doing a thing for me.

HI Guys, had a good day eating. Weather was beautiful here today so we took the dogs down to the lake for a long walk, had brunch at the diner there and walked some more...then watched a Harry Potter Marathon on TV!!
B1-1 boiled egg and coffee with HC
B - eggs benedict, extra hollandaise sauce, diet coke (only ate half the muffins), diet coke
L - low carb wrap with turkey, cheese, mayo , diet coke
D - round eye steak baked  with a  red wine gravy and mashed cauliflower with cheese, soour cream and butter
S - small piece homemade apple pie with carbsmart icecream (that was my one oops for the day but it was a gift from a neighbour and looked so delish!)

My goals for this week are:
1) Get in a walk with the dogs every day
2) drink less diet coke more water
3) keep my carbs very low due to the scale saying 145 this morning and I much prefer to stay around 137!!
4) try and squueze in an extra calcium dose
5) Get some julian bread for a change in food choices

I'll let you al know how I get on lol
