You gotta make 'em! lol

1 - 20 oz shaker cup with wire ball
4 to 6 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, water, or milk
1 to 1 1/2 scoops of IDS Vanilla-Cinnamon protein powder (Champion Nutrition Chocolate, Syntrax Nectar chocolate, vanilla or cappuccino, etc.)
{shake} until blended
Pour into a large ...huge mug
Add 9 to 10 oz of hot brewed coffee (decaf or reduced caffeine)
{stir}

Add hot liquid to cold liquid to avoid lumps. Keep the protein slurry below 160 degrees.

Hi waterman691, I found an espresso protein powder by www.drinkclick.com.    It also comes in a vanilla latte flavor, it tastes great!  You can drink it cold or hot.  I usually blend it up in the blender to make my version of a frap!! and its 15 grams of protein per scoop.

I am a total coffee head!

 I've seen all the recipes for coffee shakes on here and they look pretty good, but I like to keep it simple so I just pick up those little packets of Starbucks Via instant coffee and put about half of one in my chocolate shake.  Tastes great!  The Starbucks instant coffee is VERY finely ground so it disolves quickly.   mmmmm....think I'm going to have one when I get home.

BTW, I get the decaf kind because my NUT says that I can't count the liquid towards my daily total if it's caffienated.
