15 month update & hernia & plastics

I had an RNY to DS with Dr. Greenbaum 15 months ago and lost 100 lbs.  I am lurking on this board daily, but don't post very often.  When I was leaving Virginia to travel to NJ for my 1 yr check up I was three blocks from home and a man ran a red light, hit a school bus, which then hit me.  The car was totaled, but no one was badly injured.  I continued on to my appointment later in the day with another car.  He told me I had an insional hernia near the belly button.  It wasn't bothering me at the time.  Shortly thereafter, I began to have abdominal pain and my PCP ordered at CT scan which showed the hernia had fat in it.  Dr. Greenbaum was sent the scan and recommended surgery because by this time I was having continual pain.  I decided to have him do some plastics at the same time so I had an abdominoplasty, tummy tuck, belt lipectomy, brachioplasty (arms) and, of course, the hernia repair.  The surgery was one week ago and I am now home in Virginia recuperating.  I had the 3 drains removed yesterday and the staples will come out tomorrow.

I probably won't have anymore plastics done, but I am glad I had some done.  I would like to do my thighs, but.........

Wow Molly, that is a lot of plastics!  Would love to see the before and after pics.  Sorry to hear you were in an MVA, but glad that you were not injured.
