Giving a little credit to my insurance company

Considering the state of healthcare coverage in the US these days I am fortunate that my husband works for a large global company with pretty good health care coverage. Aside from the surgeon fees I only had to pay a $30 specialist co-pay for my DS. I have been pretty spoiled when it comes to insurance since my father is a retired CA school teacher. I even left the private tech industry for a public tech job at lower pay based solely on the insurance benefits.

I am feeling extra lucky today because insurance is covering the prescription I got for Proferrin-Forte. I decided to add Proferrin after getting the results of my 3 month labs (thanks Major Mom) and did a lot of reading on past threads about Proferrin and found that some DS'ers tried to go the Forte route but with little luck on getting it covered.

I just wanted to share my happy dance with you all. I might ***** a lot about insurance but for today they are on my good side and I think I better go knock on wood now.

I'm jealous.

I really hope 2014 means that there will be much less insurance woes for all of us. Can't wait...

Awesome good news story, Trxxyy. Not to mention that you got your DS covered as a lightweight too. WOOT!!
