First time for Broc's Pizza
WOW! I have been reading how great you guys thought that it was but I was shocked. I made about half of the recipe on a small pan and it was some of the best pizza that I had EVER had! I took the recipe from Lorie Black's blog:
http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/lorindablack/blog/2009/06/ 24/brok-s-low-carb-pizza-recipe/
I topped it with sausage, onions and green peppers and added a little fennel seed. I cut it into small about 1 1/2" squares and ate 3 of 'em! The wife loved it also and now it will be one of our regulars........THANKS FOR SHARING THIS WITH US!

That sounds awesome you lucky dog. ;D Dr Sudan won't approve solids like that until three months out so I have to wait until mid December. Brok's pizza is one of the first things I'm trying.
hey I read your other post about dry mouth and I'm having that too but I don't have a CPAP or anything. my dentist gave me a sample of the Colgate mouth rinse that is supposed to help and also said dry mouth can be problematic. he gave me a script for some extra strength fluoride rinse. don't know if I can tolerate it...I don't know about you but everything tastes *so* weird!
sorry for the hijack ;D

I had the same thing, dry mouth, couldn't get enough liquids to satisfy me and a horrible horrible taste in my mouth. I talked to the nurse practitioner at my 2 week post op appt and she said that taste will be gone in 1 month and by god it was but it was awful.
But I have to say so far (8 1/2 months post op) it was ALL worth it. I am down 140 pounds and never in a million years thought I could do half the stuff I can do now and feel fantastic..
