Is there a list of doctors who do this type of surgery. I have been told that there is a list.

Thanks so much in advance!

The website is www.dsfacts.com   it has the surgeons who are vetted in this type of surgery.  I hope you find one that fits your needs.

I have seen the list of doctors there but someone on here says that there is only a handful that does the revision surgery and was curious on where that list was.
thanks though!

I think there was a post on this forum that had a list of 5 or 6 docs who were qualified to perform revisions. If you run a search you may be able to find it.

I think Dr. Keshian, Dr. Roslin and Dr. Stewart were on the list if my memory serves. There were other docs on the list, but I forgot who they were....

Just a little correction, the docs in CA are Dr. Keshishian and Dr. Rabkin.
I would also add Dr. Buchwald in Minn to the list.

Something like this list?

RNY to DS Revision Surgeons

Dr. Rabkin, Dr. Keshishian, both are located in California

(((((I had a face-to face consult with Dr. Keshishian March 2, 2011. I do have his cash pay fees:
These are just the Surgeons FEES Only!!!!
Open DS: $8650.00
Lap DS: $9525.00
Sleeve: $2000.00

REVISIONS:
Revision - Lap Band to DS: $8650.00
Revision - RNY, VBG, Fobi Pouch, or other unknow bariactric procedure to DS: $11,000.00
(I was told that the $4,000.00 program fee is included in this $11,000.00 fee)
On my paperwork, The hospital fee (I think it was for a 4 day stay) was $17,500.00)))))
So, a revision from RNY to DS surgeons fees are $11,000.00 and the 4 day hospital stay is $17,500.00 for a total of $28,500

Dr. Elariny, located in Virginia

Dr. Roslin, located in New York

Dr. Buchwald, located in Minnesota

Dr. Greenbaum, located in New Jersey -- 9/2010 No longer doing a RNY to DS revision -- but pushing Distal/ERNY

Of course, the above doctors are in the United States

Dr. Gagner, located in Canada

Dr. Baltasar, located in Spain

Dr. Marchesini, located in Brazil

To my knowledge, Ungson doesn't do RNY to DS, just band to DS.

And take Husted off the list altogether, or make the caveat stronger: he has done them, but for a variety of reasons, we are recommending against anyone using him!

Thank You, Diana.

I had always assumed that Ungson had done RNY to DS revisions.  Good to know.

Hell, like you said Diana take Husted off of every list if you ask me. The dude is being sued by several people for making their common channel like 20cm and those people are now suffering from malnutrition, etc. Apparently he KNEW that making their common channel so short would cause problems and still he did it anyway even though there is so many studies that say don't go shorter than 50cm?  I wouldn't recommend him as a vet much less a doctor. *shakes head*
