I am trying to get back down to 160.  I am on the cusp right now of being 169, but my body is not cooperating. It could be because I lost like 10-15 pounds really fast when I went back to basics.  I "feel" like I've lost weight, but then I step on the scale to discover that the number is the same as it was yesterday and the day before, and so on.

I'm low(er) carbing though. For a while I simply didn't care what I ate, perhaps because I went for so long not being able to eat anything. Now, I'm trying to low carb and high protein it. Probably not the best thing to do, but I find that I crave carbs at night after low carbing all day so I save my carbs for the evening. Usually I'll have a potato or something along those lines for a carb.

Today is my 5 year wedding anniversary and so I went all bust and ate an english muffin along with my lazy persons 5 egg cheese, onion and sausage omelet. LOL. I love english muffins, but that's 1/2 of my carbs for the day so I'll be careful the rest of the day. It's all about balance.

I'm praying that next week the scale moves in a downward direction. I have clothes I'd like to get back in to!

If you're able to control yourself and just scratch an itch with the chips, 10 is ok.

I was satified with 10 chips and then gave the bag to my daughter (who is athletic).  However, I don't intend on testing myself again.

Somehow they just weren't as good as I remembered.

Ut oh...we're in candy season aren't we?  Get some dark chocolate and have one when you get the urge for candy.

Hi there, Rose. Nice looking Bites. I don't think I understand low fat to bring cholesterol up.

Hey there, guys and gals! It's been a LONG week and at one point I would have turned to anything sweet. Candy out the wazoo.  I can offically say I am beating the carb monster that was on my back. Thank God from Carb Smart Icecream and Carbmaster Yogurt!! Through the whole ordeal of my FIL shattering his pelvis, the DAY I started carb detoxing. Eating out the entire time. Then the death of 2 children under 2 on the same day, I have kept the carb monster at bay. The only sugar I've had the past 2 weeks is 1/3 of a sliver of peanut butter pie. I have lost 4 lbs. I'm down to 205. Thanks for letting me share.

Brunch- Hardees 1/3lb bacon cheese burger minus the bun, 2 curly fries
S- sunflower seeds
L- Fired Chicken Breast, 2 deviled eggs, sourkrout and weiners, greenbeans with bacon, that part of a sliver of peanut butter pie I was taking about. This was at the fellowship hall at the funeral.
D-Chicken Breast, Couple tablespoons mashed potatoes
S-Peanuts
S-Popcorn smothered in butter
S-2 Servings of peanutbutter
S-Carbmaster Strawberry yogurt
S-2 Carbsmart Icecream bars, yes 2!!

Not too bad for a stress eater.

All Vites in
All fluids in
