OH goodness, I'm all choked up over this, Nicole.
I'm so sorry for your loss.  I know I miss my horses that I'd given away when I moved away from the farm.  One (Doc) has since passed (he was 28) and his pal (I called her Diva, because she was) is now working on an Amish farm now that she's stronger from her recovery from a head on collision on the race track.  I feel for you, girl.

I'm so sorry, Nicole. She was such a beauty and you two were so lucky to have each other.

I'm so sorry. Horses can enrich our lives in a way that not many people can. She was lucky to have someone that loved her as much as you do.

She's happily playing chase with her doggie companion and not in any pain or with any restrictions now.  She'll be waiting for you on the other side of the rainbow bridge.  I feel your grief immensely.

I know when I go and see my little furry friends I've had to let go, there's going to be a stampede. Like you, I'll probably have to have a choir of angels holding onto all of them while I get furred, licked, head butted and loved!!

Hugs,
Ratkity

Nicole, I'm in tears, here.  I always knew how much your horse meant to you, so I know how she "saved your life."  When you said that you would drop everything for her towards the end, that just how I was when my doggie Noodle passed last year.  I know this must be so hard for you.   Your baby was a real sweetie.  Big, big hugs, Jenny

Nicole, I so know your grief.  I had to put down my dear sweet Maggie 3 yrs ago, and don't feel I've gotten over it yet.  She was only 21, had a strong heart, but had stomach cancer.  I spent many a nights sleeping beside her on her stall floor.

You're in my thoughts and prayers.  It's hard to let them go, but to know they are pain free eases much of the pain.

Hugs.
My  is Jewels.  Love her very much!
