This morning I fixed my usual egg with a slice of cheese and added 2 slices of bacon.  OMG!!!  If it treats me OK this will be my breakfast of choice from now on..............

I'm almost 9 years post op and almost every morning my breakfast consists of:

2 extra large fried eggs (over medium)
1 slice of cheese
4-6 slices of bacon
1 english muffin

I've got this down to a science. Takes about 5 minutes total cooking time. And I still love it. My breakfast of champions.

BTW - I switch back and forth between "real" bacon and the "precooked" bacon that you just simply microwave for 30 seconds. So far the best of the precooked bacon is from Trader Joe's.  Over the summer I have been getting real bacon from the farmer's market. I buy it, portion it out, and freeze it.
