I am switched!
I can't believe I can say that I am done. Really done!! I am a switch-a-roo too. Dr Maguire and his staff were so good to me. Now, I have had two C-section and a hysterectomy before so I thought I knew what I could expect. I did expect some pain and discomfort and using a PC pump also. What I got was just barely any pain at all. I used my PC Pump 3 times on my second day and thta was it. Now Dr maguire uses an On Q pain pump that goes right to the suture line to numb it and I think that is what helped so much through the beginning of my recovery. One of the nurses took a picture of my "hardware", as I call it. So I am going to post it on here so the newbies can see.
The top two on each side tubes are from my On-Q pump. Never really felt much when they came out. The tube on your left is my Jackson Pratt tube and the one on your right is my G-tube. Not so scarey huh?
I want to say a special thank you to Ginger for checking on me. She has heard me now at my worst and my best. :)
