Howdy.

Well, I know it's not eggs completely because I eat them a lot. Maybe its the ham cubes. I haven't bought them before. Could it be the heavy cream? I don't know, but I may have to take a break from the eggs for a while! I haven't had problems with scrambled eggs for a while! Oh well.

B - Champ Choc Shake - 1.5 scoops
S - Cham Choc Shake - 1 scoop (very busy morning)
L - 2 eggs scrambled w/heavy cream, 1/2c ham cubes, 1/4c swiss cheese (not counting any of this, as I'm sure you know what happened, and it would only add to my protein)
S - Champ Choc Shake - 1.5 scoops
D - 2 servings tortilla chips w/Mexican cheese dip

Cals - 1295
Carbs - 67
Fat - 63
Protein - 121
Fiber - 13

Vites - all done
Exercites - 1 short dog walk, 1 long dog walk, lots of talking, does that count???

Could you have eaten too fast because of your busy morning?
Do you tend to keep your fat low (for a DSer) and spread it out more during the day?  I'm thinking that maybe the combo of eggs, cream & cheese was too rich or fatty for your tummy, especially if you gobbled down the meal.
I know if I eat too fast or too much fat in one sitting I can get the post-eating blahs.

I definitely did not eat it fast. I normally eat extremely slowly, so much so that it annoys everyone I eat with. I don't think it was that. Also, I normally eat pretty high fat, today was just an anomoly b/c the eggs sat on my chest all day until they had to make their exit.

If I eat too fast, I'm usually in the restroom before the meal is over!!!!

Oh, and I always eat eggs with cheese, but rarely the cream. I only added it because I don't want to waste it after opening. I made a crustless quiche the other day. Same ingredients, same problem. That said, I always have trouble with "baked eggs", including broks pizza. It just doesn't work for me.

It is so weird how each of our bodies react differently.

You did have your gallbladder out with the DS, didn't you?  Just asking because I have a friend who can't eat eggs because of her GB and I had the same issue with baked eggy goodness (plus with spinach and salads) before I had mine removed  pre-DS.   I didn't have big gall stones, rather I had 'sludge'.

Yes, I had my GB out years ago.....it's kind of a guessing game. Some things are good some days, other, notsomuch.

Janice,
For whatever reason, I have trouble with scrambled eggs. Fried, deviled, boiled, etc are all ok, but scrambled are hit and miss. Tried scrambled eggs yesterday and it was a miss.......I thought of you,

I'm going to take a break from them for a bit. I've never had a problem with fried, so I may do that intstead. Nothing like barfing eggs! Yuck!

Scrambled eggs are tough for me too. Poached are good with hollandaise sauce.
