YAY! i think im gonna be sick now:)

Well i have not posted much in the last month because ive been in the dumps waiting for everything to get ready to be sent to the insurance. i have been on here at least twice a week to read everyones posts but felt i didnt have much to add...being in lingo is hard!

Im so happy to see several of my friends are now on the dark side but move over ladies and gents cause im on my way!

I have not idea how it happened because I have a "once in a lifetime" clause but it did and im so thankful, i really have no words! My surgery is scheduled on 11/9/11 with Dr. Smith.

Of course im now in the "self doubt" stage as to whether this is the right thing for me. About 2hrs after my call from Dr. Smith's office i walked into the school's library to ask the media specialist a question. A kindergartener was in line, he looked up at me as i walked in and said "Whoa (his eyes widened), why dont you workout." I cried when i walked out not so much because it hurt but because i was thinking in a few months no child will ever ask me a question like that again!

Thank you to everyone who has been a tremendous help. i dont know where i would be if i didnt have this board! XX

We are already planning a big trip to Croatia for summer 2012...i cant wait to enjoy all the outdoors stuff and not be self conscious!

Congrats! For once insurance wants to do the right thing without a big battle.

I was completely flabbergasted! I was all prepared for a big fight! They even accepted my 6mon diet from when i was ok'ed for lapband 5yrs ago.
