Citracal Gummies

Hi guys, now before you get all bent out of shape at me...I DO take 4 doses of the Vialady Cal, mag & Vit D capsules a day, plus extra mag o avoid constipation. But I saw some Citracal gummies today at the goecery store and I thought they would be cool to keep on the counter and use as a "treat" once a day.
here are the stats on the label:

Vit d as cholecalciferol 500Iu
Calcium (elemental) 500mg
Phosphorous  230mg

I realise that they could never be a main source of calcium but I reckon they could be worth a once a day? what do you all think?

I don't see where it wouldn't hurt at all!

 My DEXA tech just recommended these.   There's really no reason they can't be used as your main source of calcium, unless you are concerned about the carb count.    You'd just want to add some magnesium to it.    I just bought some, and I take 1,000 mg a day of this (of course, I take a whole lot more than that) but like you, they're kind of my "treat" for the day.

 I take these, but I agree that they are a "treat."  I could eat a bottle a day if I wasn't careful...and I don't want that many carbs.  They are soooo yummy!!!

Totally fine but I agree to keep the main source of calcium as the caps.  For whatever reason, Dina has said that in watching labs and such for post ops doing the gummies and chews, they just don't seem to fare as well.
