I sure hope I found a new "magic pill" (though I am happy to make some diet and intake changes as needed, don't get me wrong--leaving off Chick Fil-A lemonade and one particular kind of pickled pepper are by no means hardships, and I should be paying more attention to my "almost-full" signals and not overeating anyhow) and that I have nothing more sinister lurking down there waiting to be seen.

BTW, when I had my EGD preop, the anesthesiologist (friend of mine) let me push my own juice. He hooked everything up, handed me the preloaded syringe and said, "Knock yourself out!" He still sent me the full bill, but it was kinda cool. I don't even know if I managed to empty the whole syringe before drifting off to la-la-land or not (but I don't remember a thing after that point).

BWAHAHA!!! I remember some of my top and bottom scope, unfortunately. I would imagine it was a bit of a guessing game for how much good stuff someone of my size needed--can't recall how exact of a weight they got, but it was less than absolutely nailed down.
In fact, I can remember thinking something to that effect as I let out a squawk during the colonoscopy. "Damn, they guessed too light" or something. They were quick to push more goodies and all was well.
