I seem to have caught the bug my kids brought home from school.  It's the first time since surgery that I've been sick.  Any suggestions on a kick-ass, knock me out cold medicine?  I'm going out on night shift tonight, and need to rest today.

I use Theraflu apple cinnamon. Might knock you out today so you can get some rest.

I got a flu shot, but managed to still get the bug from my family when I came home from surgery.

I got sudafed, real sudafed from behind the pharmacy counter. I combine that with some tylenol and feel like I can function. I would take nyquil, but I can't swallow that large of a pill yet and I just can't do the liquid.

Nothing beats real sudafed for runny, stuffy, and gross boogy nose though.

I take mucinex D. It works wonders for me. No problems to report.
