I am home!!!

Thank you all for the prayers.  I finally made it.  I got the classic DS and not the loop.  Dr. Roslin said my surgery went perfect and no problems inside.  I would've come home yesterday but I vomitted 3x so he kept me one extra day to make sure I could keep liquids down.  The gas is killing me, other than that its a struggle to get in liquids.  I have been walking and I was able to pass gas and have a bowel movement (3 of them). 

P.S. I saw Kenya before I left and she had a hard time with the swallow test, but other than that she is doing well.

I am off to bed.  Thank you all, you are the best group of DS'ers.

How cool was it that you were in the hospital at the same time that Kenya was there! Get plenty of rest and plenty of hydration.

Congratulations, Frankie! And welcome home! I know what you mean about those nasty gas issues! Yikes! So glad things went successfully for you and that you're home recovering! Take it easy on yourself!
