Got my date

I got my date!! October 14. I was nervous to actually get to this point, but I feel fairly calm about it now. I know I'll be nervous as it gets closer. My biggest struggle so far is that I have a lot of people at work that know I'll be on medical leave and are concerned for me. I haven't told them anything other than I'm having a 'procedure'. I don't care for their opinions at this point, but I do appreciate their concern.
