Missed Opportunity to shout YIPEE!!

I feel like someone when they miss seeing the odometer changing to 100,000 or something like that.
This last week I have lost 72 lbs and had 72 to go. I was at 50% my excess body weight lost! And I am just shy of my 4 month mark! So I was busy this weekend, and didn't get to post anything about it, or say anything to anyone (even family). And I figured since I've kinda been at a standstill for a cple of weeks, up 2 down 2. My body loses in stair steps: I lose a bunch real fast, then sit there for about 3 weeks, then lose again, stay again. I've always been like that whenever I've dieted. I always thought it was when I was being "good" and "not so good"! But now I know.
So that missed opportunity?? Well, as of this morning I was was down another 4 lbs! So now just 68 to go and 76 lost! YIPEEEEE!!!! (better late than never!!)

Lisa!

I loved reading this! I am 6 weeks out and have lost 42 pounds so far. I have been at a stall for about 10 days, and it is making me crazy! I don't care that I'm not losing mass amounts, but I just get so worried that I will be the exception to the DS rule, and that this will turn out like all of my other attempts to lose weight. I felt so much comfort reading your post. Good job on your weight loss, and good luck with the remaining weight. I know you can do it!!! Wow!!!! 72 pounds in 4 months. That is Amazing!

Good job, Lisa!   Something tells me you're going to do just fine!!!
I think losing in stair steps is the rule, rather than the exception around here.
