Why Prilosec?

 Prevacid is also used for the same issues, and it works really quickly for gastritis issues.I have inter-changed them for the last two years...on a prn basis.  It reduces the acidity...of what you expel.
     Both PPI's can be used to buffer the  pouch/intestinal tract... in case of needing  specific  medications  that is not normally recommended for certain persons who have had a  wls.   Many PCP's will  prescribe it in this manner as well.
