Hit goal (Normal BMI) on 2-10-11! I LOVE my DS!!
My approval process timeline:
02/12/09 - Dr. refused to refer me for WLS
03/03/09 - Vented/whined about it on another board, planned to just wait until next year & switch plans
Let's see what happens!

Thank you. Unless I tell, no one knows and even those that know don't always remember.

But you were one of the people that told me it would be like this when I was not able to see it myself. For that I will always think you are the best.

Wow, congratulations! You look amazing and it sounds like you feel amazing too!

I'm still pre-op for DS; may I ask what complication caused you to wind up on TPN? I just like to have my eyes OPEN, if you know what I mean!

Well, long story short. I found out I was allergic to either a medication or combination of medications that started a spiral of events, including a medical error (@ an ER not my surgeon). I soon was unable to eat or drink enough to support my systems. So, not really a DS issue but would not have happened if I had not had surgery. It could of happened with any surgery.
