With a few tweaks, I use Lori's recipe. Here's the link to the original: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/DS/4280141/Step-by-step-directions-on-how-to-make-the-best-protein/#35237217.

Here are my tweaks:

1) Blender Ball cup
2) pour 4 oz half & half or heavy whipping cream in bottom (with ball in)
3**** up to top of ridges on cup
4) hazelnut sugar-free syrup, two tablespoons poured over the ice
5) room temp or cold brewed coffee up to ridges on cup
6) two scoops of Champion chocolate
7) shake like crazy
8) DRINK WITH A STRAW! The tall straws from Starbucks work great. It tastes totally different with a straw vs. without.

50g protein, 13g carbs.

(ETA straw--essential!)

If I'm feelin fancy, I use a scoop of Click mocha and a scoop of reg choc protein mix, 1 cup reg coffee, splenda, milk/cream/or whatver other dairy and ice..shake er up.

If it's a normal day, it's two scoops of protein, coffee, splenda, ice and whatever dairy.

I prefer mine iced...haven't cared much for the texture warm, even when I pay careful attention since when I drink coffee hot, it must be HOT.

Decaf Hazelnut Iced Coffee -

(use a 28 oz. Blender Bottle to mix)

1 cup cold hazelnut decaf coffee
(make it the night before and refrigerate) you can use regular hazelnut if you want the caffeine - decaf hazelnut is only available in my area at Meijer in whole beans.  You can get sugar free hazelnut syrup and use regular coffee, omitting the Splenda, if it's sweet enough for you.

2 scoops whey protein isolate

1 1/2 cups cold vitamin D milk

1/4 cup heavy cream or 1/2 cup half & half

Splenda to taste

Ice cubes

combine all ingredients in a 28 oz Blender Bottle, add ice, shake until whey protein isolate is completely blended into the liquid.

Pour into glass, or drink straight from the Blender Bottle!

I make Lori's shake with Starbuck's SF Carmel syrup. Will have to try the hazelnut syrup.

I use the smaller (16ish oz?) shaker cup with the following:

Fill almost to top with ice cubes
Add half and half to 2/3ish full, then a splash of water
One full scoop chocolate and one half scoop vanilla whey protein powder, both Champion
A few tablespoons of instant espresso powder (this stuff:  http://www.amazon.com/Medaglia-DOro-Instant-Espresso-Coffee/ dp/B00060PTLO
A dash of cinnamon

Then shake like hell.  Let sit for a minute or two, and shake like hell again.  Garnish with straw.  Awesome. :)

Mine is quick, easy, simple and super yummy!

I take about 1 1/2 cups of cold coffee, 1 scoop of MRM chocolate egg white protein powder, and a few ice cubes ... mix them all up in my magic bullet, and voila! A yummy mocha!

Sometimes I'll add a splash of my toffee creamer, or even a dash of caramel syrup, but it's really good just plain! And I love the egg white protein powder because it doesn't have the nasty aftertaste like whey proteins do.

Syntrax nectar Cappuccino is my protein of choice.

Start with 2 scoops protein in a tall glass. Add 4-6oz cold coffee. Stir (this mixes very well with a spoon). Fill glass with ice and add a generous splash of 1/2&1/2 or heavy cream. Enjoy!

I tried to make hot protein coffee today. I mixed Designer Chocolate protein with cream then added to Tim Horton's coffee. I don't know if I did it wrong but it ruined my coffee , tasted horrible.

Jennifer,
If your coffee is too hot it will clump on you.  Let cool down some or make ice coffee.
