Stomach feels funny

Hello all;

Question. I know the colace stool softeners are not stimulant, nor laxatives, but do they make your system feel different at all?

Okay for the last couple of days, my system feels . . . squirrelly, like it does about an hour after I eat something that apparently disagrees with me. No nausea, quesiness, nowhere near vomiting and no cramps - at least I don't thnk so. Just a very subtle churning feeling with some gurgling, digestive type noises and movement I can feel. Still just two normal eliminations in the early morning as usual. It is very mild, but noticeable because it is not normal for me and begins around mid morning and continues for the rest of the day til evening. Doesn't matter what I eat.

I wondered if it is the stool softeners, but I have included them regularly for a couple weeks. But, I did just incorporate miralax (needed a little domething more) starting Thursday night . . . Hmmm, think that might be it?? If so, is that normal?

Still planning to ask my doc and surgeon, but do you all have any thoughts?

Try taking 3 times your normal amout of probiotics....

That won't be too much? I know we malabsorb some, but directions say one capsule and I am already taking two in the am and one in evening.

Can you take too much and what would be the reaction if you do?

As an example, these have  100 Billion CFU   They recommend  ten days of these as an "intensive" program.

I have never heard of anyone taking too much.
