LAP BAND TO DS.

My band to DS revision was denied by Cigna due to "lack of medical necessity." There is an exception which says they don't have to pay for your revision if you can't *prove* you followed the post-op diet. My post-op was 10 years ago and in Mexico, so nope... can't prove a thing! Get any and all papers together and start writing down every detail you remember about your banding experience so you can use that in your insurance claim. Good luck and welcome!
