going "2" often??

Just over two years out and I have morning urgency when I wake up, it no longer wakes me up as it did earlier on.   I do require some time in the "library" for that morning go so I do plan for it if I have an early appointment outside of my home office.  The rest of the day varies, according to what I eat.   I did experience some urgency during the day in the early months but now I am able to control things until a potty break is convenient.  It is not (in my case) interfering with an active lifestyle.   I know everyone has their own rhythm and things vary wildly from post op to post op, but this is my experience.

That actually sounds like a pretty normal bowel movement pattern for someone with the DS.  I have heard many, many people say that they go twice in the morning and maybe once more later on.

I think the urgency will probably wear off or become more bearable.  Only 3 months out...plenty of time for improvement in this area.

http://www.vsl3.com/    You could try this.  It's a super strong probiotic.  It has a constipating effect on me.  But I think this would work well for those DSers that go too much.

I am almost a year post op. I go about 2 to 4 times in the morning, then I'm good for the rest of the day. SOMETIMES I go once more in the evening.

Early post op I was going a lot more and it was more urgent. My body has adjusted over time!
