Handmade ground beef patties are topped with sharp cheddar cheese and then wrapped in a bacon weave before the Hebrew Nationals are inserted as the heads, legs and tails. Place them on a rack, cover loosely with foil and then put them into an oven heated to 400 degrees. Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the bacon is done - cooked through and a little crispy, but not too crunchy.

It sounds YUMMY! A lot of my favorites, but I'd never be able to keep it all down....too much bulk, wouldn't work. :(

Not my creation.  Someone emailed this to me.

Bacon Cheese Turtle Burger
Mmmmmmm bacon...............

Handmade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in a bacon weave.

Then the next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs and tail.
Next step? Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees.

A little crispy, not too crunchy...just how a turtle should be, no?

So cute, I'm not sure I could bite into it. Or cut a head off, or cut into a tummy.

These are just too cute to eat. And I think my daughter who doesn't eat meat would probably have a fit. LOL.

how do you get the hotdogs to stay on?

You just made me so hungery!   5 more days on my crapy pre-op diet.
